As an immigrant, a child of two vastly different cultures, I have always felt like an observer, belonging and not belonging to the environments I live in. My work is and always has been an effort to mirror how I see and experience those environments.
The work here explores the margins between light & shadow, water & shore and landscape & man. It observes the border between texture & abstraction, acuity & aberration.
